Do I really need to code the swimsuits for Kit, Molly, and Sam?

I don't like that AG has driven us all to think about "seasonal" items since the Nellie and Sam coat fiasco.

I don't really want to have to code these items right now, even though it would be nice to save $15 overall. But I already have Sam's original suit, and we don't even have Kit or Molly yet. I would buy the new Sam one for Nellie to wear. I want these outfits someday, of course, but I just don't like the feeling of "get them now or they'll be gone..."

Because of my money budget, I couldn't order them today, before the code ends, but if you're not on a tight money budget, then I would so go ahead and do it. You're saving $15 dollars, which is really good, well, better than not saving $15 dollars. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I have been having the same debate about Sam's swimsuit. I am not even sure if I like it, but I am wondering if I should get it. I am leaning against not getting it, however. I don't feel that the code is that great of a deal with the $24 outfits. I have so much stuff in my doll closet already. The original Sam swimsuit took a long time to sell out, and I don't think that these new swimsuits are so great that everyone is rushing to buy them. I think the reviews are sort of so-so on these suits.

Well, maybe I am wrong about the demand or quantity of stock for the suits because I just read Adr-Adri's post and Molly's is backordered until July 19.

I think you should! Cause with summer coming, more and more people will be buying them and they may poof on us! I already got Kit's and want to get the other two when I can.

No, really they are all fabulous. My dd used her Christmas money on Samantha's and then I gave my Kit hers and other dd hers for Molly for a treat.

Samantha's is so sweet (although dd doesn't like the hat), the pail and shovel is adorable and the umbrella is huge! (fits over all three dolls together)

I just love Kit's suit. The goggles look adorable on her and the swim cap is so cute.

Molly's suit is to die for. It is not pink, it's peach. And so pretty and soft, too. I didn't think I'd like the necklace, but it's pretty cute. The glasses are worth the whole outfit by itself...makes Molly look like a little glamour queen! [img]tongue.gif[/img] Her beach towel is so soft, much softer than they usually are.

And they all come with accessories. The dolls have been having lots of fun with Molly's beachball. And I forgot to mention Kit's umbrella...incredible...I can't believe it actually comes with the outfit. It's just like the old-fashioned paper fans we used to have, only it's made of a sturdier rubberized plastic.

I think these are all a very great buy for the money. I wish I hadn't run out of money [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] or I'd have bought more for gifts.

I asked a CS rep and she said they might not be seasonal. She said that Sam's old suit was around until there wasn't much demand for it but recent demand has brought them back. She did say she thought the new spring dresses would be seasonal.
